Why Contribute to Passages?
Passages is the Kansas City metro Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) youth organization. Weekly youth ages 14-20 are welcome in our hate-free and drug-free space.

Our unique resources include:
- LGBT books, documentaries, and extensive health resources
- Community publications that discuss the latest equality movement headlines
- Filtered internet to support school work and social website access
- Crisis support for suicide, abuse, and shelter through partnering organizations

Exclusively volunteer operated, with community members from diverse personal and professional backgrounds willing to share their life experiences and reinforce to our youth that life does get better.

Passages is a community organization and is primarily funded by generous donations like yours.

How Can You Help?
Bulleted below is a list of Passages' recurring monthly expenses. You can help by sponsoring one of these recurring expenses with your regular donation:

• Rental of ~4,000 square feet: $675/mo
• Liability insurance: ~$100/mo
• Business Phone & Internet Services from AT&T: $130/mo
• Incidental grocery, computer/DJ equipment upkeep, & misc expenses: $70/mo

Funding Status
As of late January, 2012, Passages has ~$4,000 in available funds. With the above recurring expenses, the budget will extend operations for 3 to 4 months through April/May 2012. Your financial support can immediately extend Passages' longetivity and community legacy.
